PAC Annual Report 2017-2018

The Annual Report 2017–18 marks an important strategic transition as PAC reorganised its research around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The report documents the establishment of a new strategic roadmap focusing on sustainable development, evidence-based policymaking, and action research. Research programmes were organised into Sustainable Development, Urbanisation and Development, Environment and Ecology, and Participatory Governance. The report also highlights efforts to establish the Centre for Open Data Research (CODR), strengthen research quality, improve project implementation, and enhance community participation in governance. Through partnerships with governments, donors, and civil society organisations, PAC expanded its work in data-driven governance, policy advocacy, capacity building, and institutional development.
