Mandavi Tripathi

Mandavi Tripathi completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Delhi and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Cities & Governance at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad. Her academic interests include urban governance, public finance, municipal administration, and evidence-based policy research. She has gained practical experience in municipal finance analysis, urban infrastructure, spatial analysis, and field research through internships with the Janaagrah Centre for Citizenship and Democracy and Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited. She also completed a project internship with Imagine Panaji Smart City Limited, Goa, where she conducted field-based assessments of solid waste management systems, carried out spatial mapping using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and contributed to policy analysis aligned with national urban development programmes.

Mandavi's research interests include urban governance, municipal finance, public policy, spatial analysis, and institutional strengthening. She is committed to advancing data-driven research and policy initiatives that contribute to more effective, accountable, and sustainable urban local governance
