Yamini Telkar is an Indian art specialist with over three decades of experience across museums, cultural institutions, auction houses, galleries, academia, and public art programmes. She currently leads the Art Programme at Bangalore International Airport Ltd., where she oversees curatorial initiatives that promote Indian art and culture in public spaces. Her work spans modern and contemporary Indian art, folk and tribal traditions, collections management, exhibition curation, and art history. She is committed to making art and cultural heritage accessible to wider audiences through research, education, and public engagement.

  • M.Phil. in Art and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi
  • M.A. in Ancient Culture, St. Xavier's College, Mumbai
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai
