Niraj Kumar Verma

Niraj Kumar Verma is a development finance and rural banking professional with over three decades of experience in institutional finance, rural development, infrastructure financing, and natural resource management. He most recently served as Managing Director of NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS). During his distinguished career with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), he held several leadership positions, including Chief General Manager of the Karnataka Regional Office and Head of the Business Initiatives and Corporate Communications Departments at NABARD's Head Office. He also served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NABKISAN Finance Limited, a subsidiary of NABARD, and as a Director on the Board of NABFINS Ltd. His work has focused on strengthening rural financial institutions, promoting inclusive finance, infrastructure development, institutional capacity building, and sustainable rural development across India.
