Dr. Priyanca Mathur is Professor and Head of the Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Education (CeRSSE) at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru. A political scientist by training, her work spans international politics, forced migration, refugee studies, gender, public policy, governance, and federalism. She is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN), serves on the Editorial Board of the Refugee Law Reader, and is a member of the International Association for the Study of Forced Migration (IASFM). She has also worked internationally as a trainer with UN Women and the Forum of Federations, designing and delivering programmes on gender, decentralisation, and governance across South and Southeast Asia.
