Amukta Mohapatra is an educationist and policy practitioner with over four decades of experience in school education, teacher development, educational leadership, and curriculum reform. She is the Founder-Director of SchoolScape – Centre for Educators, Bengaluru, and has worked extensively with government agencies, UNICEF, and educational institutions to strengthen teacher education and school quality. She has contributed to large-scale education reforms, including teacher educator development in Tamil Nadu that informed the state's Activity-Based Learning (ABL) programme. Her work focuses on learner-centred education, democratic schooling, professional learning communities, and improving educational quality through policy and practice.
