Prof.(Dr) Allen P. Ugargol is an Associate Professor of Practice in Public Policy at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). As an applied demographer, public health physician-scientist, and health-systems researcher, his work uniquely combines quantitative and interpretive approaches to address critical global challenges. His research focuses on demographic and epidemiological transitions, population ageing, longevity, primary healthcare, Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and social care systems. With over two decades of experience, he has built a distinguished career bridging academia, research, multilateral agencies, development organisations, and public policy implementation.
