Evaluation Study on Impact Assessment of Rural Drinking Water Supply Scheme with special reference to SC/ST Households

This present report evaluates the impact of the Rural Water Supply scheme across five districts- Chikkaballapur, Dharwad, Hassan, Chitradurga and Raichur. Responses were collected from beneficiaries and scheme staff alike, using the Public Affairs Centre’s flagship survey tool- Citizen Report Card (CRC) to catch the real feel of the people during the period of July-November 2021, Case studies were undertaken to understand the depth of the impact. Quantitative as well as qualitative methodologies were used to arrive at results within a Impact Evaluation framework anchored in 3E’s- Equity, Efficiency and Effectiveness.
