International Budget Partnership

PAC is a partner in the Partnership initiative of IBP. In this, PAC is focusing on the provisions of the maternal care in Bangalore. PAC will map the existing service standards and provisions through CitizenReport Card (CRC) exercise followed by Community Score Card (CSC) exercise in three maternity homes. Simultaneously, a budget analysis of these three maternity homes will be done to identify and evaluatethe link between service delivery problems and the budget problems.

 ANSA -SAR

The Affiliated Networks for Social Accountability (ANSA) are an initiative to promote, strengthen and sustain social accountability knowledge and praxis globally. Funded by the World Bank Institute, currently there are three regional ANSA hubs – Africa, East Asia   Pacific, and South Asia, as well as a Global Seed Fund component to promote ANSA in different regions.

The project “Enhancing Community Centred Governance in Climate Change affected Coastal Areas” is being funded by ANSA-SAR.

The Centre for Advocacy and Research (CFAR) is a non-profit organization committed to advocacy on the rights of marginalized populations. This includes the urban and rural poor, HIV positive people, single women, people living with disabilities, the girl child, women in sex work and sexual minorities. Formally established in 1998 CFAR emerged out of a collective called the 'Media Advocacy Group'. They have a presence in - Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Manipur, Maharashtra, Nagaland and Tamilnadu.  PAC has partnered with CFAR in implementing the maternal health project in Bangalore and also in fighting corruption in PDS in Bangalore through the citizens' Against Corruption Programme

Association for Promoting Social Action (APSA), a rights-based child-centered community development organisation. They work towards the development of the community through a systematic process of empowerment. APSA, with more than two decades of grassroots experience, has led from the front in designing unique programs. It combines paradigms of self-sufficiency at the micro level with advocacy campaigns and policy planning the state and national levels. PAC has currently partnered with APSA in implementing the maternal health project in Bangalore

Society for People’s Action for Development (SPAD) is a non-profit non-government organisation (NGO) established in 1993. SPAD’s activities are inspired by a vision of a society of social and economic equality, including education, health, and gender relations. In addition, the reduction of discrimination is high on SPAD’s agenda. Through its work, the society emphasizes that social issues need to be an essential element of the development policy of third world countries.

SPAD’s principle is based on TAG: Total Transparency, Absolute Accountability, and Good Governance. The activities and programs of SPAD are currently spread out in 8 districts of Hassan, Coorg, Mysore, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore Urban, Tumkur, Chitradurga and Dharwad in Karnataka.
