The Traffic Police Day an Initiative of CMCA for the past 3 years was flagged of by the Additional Commissioner of Police Traffic Mr. Praveen Sood this year. Also present were DCP Srinivasa & ACP Mr. Nagappa. 40 children from different civic clubs across the city were present to thank the unsung heroes; our Traffic constables. Children recited poems written by them and presented Thank you cards made by them. The Constables were moved by the gesture of the children. Mr Narendra Babu one of the constables said so & also requested the children to obey traffic rules. Mr Sood adviced the children to not be part of the crowd and complain, but to be the change they want to see. As is the slogan of CMCA – “Make a difference”. If one counts the number of problems faced, it would be endless. Therefore, the children should try to be a part of the solution rather than the problem.

Apart from this, all civic club members also visited traffic junctions near their schools to thank the constables. Some visited police stations to meet the constables & express their gratitude.
