The key findings from “Study of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Initiatives on Universalisation of Elementary education in Karnataka with special reference to concerns of Quality and Equity” were presented to the SSA directorate and UNICEF on 30^th April 2009, at the state project office, Bangalore. The participants included, the Commissioner Public Instructions, Joint Directors, Program Officers and advisors of SSA and a representative from UNICEF.

Dr. Sita from the PGRG presented the key findings from the study on behalf of PAC. This was followed by a short presentation by Mr. Srikant on Case Study Research findings for the same study.

The findings from both regular and mainstreaming schools study were well appreciated and accepted by SSA.
