Public Affairs Centre organized an Open house programme for Friends of PAC on 29th November 2007. After PAC shifted from Koramangala to the new campus in Bommasandra late in 2006, many of our regular friends and visitors were unable to keep in touch due to the distance and traffic. This programme was arranged to facilitate the first visit for most of them. The large turn out representing enthusiastic CMCA volunteers and members of different Resident’s Welfare Associations from across the city was very encouraging. A few families of staff participated in the event together with members of the Kenyan delegation attending a Public Affairs Foundation workshop.  

 

Dr. Samuel Paul, Chairman of the Public Affairs Centre, and Dr. Gopakumar, Director, of Public Affairs Centre, briefly addressed the gathering and updated them on the work of the Centre and looked forward to their continued support.

 

After the function, PAC Director, Dr. Gopakumar remarked to the delegates, “Today's meet was a remarkable reflection of your collective determination to improve the lives of the citizenry in India. We are indeed touched and inspired by your show of support and camaraderie.   Needless to say, your continued enthusiasm and support have been the major inspiration for the small but dedicated team at Public Affairs Centre. We deeply appreciate your belief in us and would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge your support and dedication which over the years, have offered compelling value to our organization.”
