Chief Research Officer

Dr. Sita Sekhar joined PAC in September 1995 as a Research Consultant. Thereafter she has held various positions at Public Affairs Centre and currently holds the position of Chief Research Officer (2005).

She received her PhD from University of Madras on Gender differences in Labour supply and has specialised in Econometrics. Formerly, a lecturer at Meenakshi College, Chennai. Presently, as the Chief Research Officer at Public Affairs Centre (PAC), she coordinates all research activities of the centre, especially the use of the Citizen Report Card Approach in various spheres of Governance.
